Canon RF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens to be Announced in the First Half of 2023

Canon is rumored to release two more super-telephoto prime lenses in early 2023. One of these lenses will be RF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM lens and according to recent rumors, this telephoto prime lens has been tested in the wild.

Canon has discontinued the EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens for a long time, so many Canon photographer are waiting for this lens.

According to Canon rumors, the company may announce the long awaited RF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM lens in the first half of 2023.

The Canon RF 300mm f/2.8L and RF 500mm f/4L are said to be much lighter and shorter than their EF mount counterparts. In addition, Canon may actually release the RF mount version of the 300 f/2.8 as a zoom.
