Best Lenses for Canon EOS R6

Looking for the best lenses for Canon EOS R6? Here are the top recommended RF-mount lenses for Canon EOS R6 mirrorless camera.

Designed for both photographers and video content creators, the Canon EOS R6 is one of the most capable mirrorless cameras on the market and it is perfct for photographing high-speed action sports as well as filming 4K cinematic video with ease. Boasting the same base 20MP Full-Frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC X image processor as the EOS-1D X Mark III, the Canon EOS R6 is capable of fast burst shooting up to 12 fps with a mechanical shutter, or silent 20 fps with an electronic shutter, as well as UHD 4K video recording at up to 60 fps, along with Full HD at 120 fps for slow-motion playback. The 5-axis IBIS (In-Body Image Stabilizer) built-in EOS R6 camera’s body helps you to enhance the ability to hand-hold still images at slower shutter speeds and also help to reduce camera shake when recording movies. In addition, the Canon EOS R6 sports a bright and detailed 0.5″ 3.69m-dot electronic viewfinder, with a high 120 fps refresh rate, and a rear 3.0″ 1.62m-dot touchscreen LCD with a vari-angle design to accommodate vlogging needs as well as benefit working from high and low angles – All these features make it an excellent do-everything, highly versatile camera.

Have you picked up a Canon EOS R6 recently? If so, then you might be thinking about which lenses are also worth adding to your gear bag. I have read and watched hundreds of RF-mount lens reviews and I also own quite a collection myself. So I have a pretty good idea about which are the best lenses worth investing in and which should be avoided.

The Canon EOS R6 features the RF lens mount, which support Canon’s line of RF-mount lenses. And this RF mount design also lends full compatibility to existing EF and EF-S-mount lenses via an optional EF-EOS R Mount Adapter. So, if you own several EF and EF-S lenses, you can just get one of the four mount adapters, each uniquely designed to meet the individual needs of the user.
