Canon is working on a RF 60mm f/1.0L USM Lens. According to the latest reports, Canon is developing a RF 60mm f/1.0L USM ultra-large aperture lens. In terms of ultra-spec lenses, Canon’s RF mount full-frame mirrorless system currently has an RF 28-70mm F2 L USM, an F2 large aperture standard zoom lens. In order to highlight the superiority of the RF mount, it is possible that Canon will launch an F1.0 super-large aperture autofocus lens. The following is the release time of each manufacturer’s ultra-large aperture lens:
- Canon RF 28-70mm F2L USM: September 2018
- Canon RF 50mm F1.2L USM: September 2018
- Canon RF 85mm F1.2L USM: May 2019
- Canon RF 85mm F1.2L USM DS: October 2019
- Nikon NIKKOR Z 58mm F0.95 S Noct: October 2019 (manual focus)
- Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm F1.2 S: September 2020
- Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM: March 2021
