Along with upcoming Canon EOS R5C to be announced in this year, Canon is going to announce the long awaited EOS R5S in 2022. The Canon EOS R5S will feature with a 100MP full frame image sensor.
Canon EOS R5S will be the replacement of current EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R, and expected have same design as EOS R5. The EOS R5S will be target for landscape and studio photographers.
Canon intends to enrich the EOS R series mirrorless system with both entry-level and high-end models. In addition to the aforementioned high-end EOS R1 and R5C cameras, it is stated that the new EOS R5S camera will also appear in 2022.
