Rumored Canon EOS R3 Specifications (45MP, Quad-Pixel AF)
Here are the latest updates about the Canon EOS R3 specifications. According to recent reports, the already in development Canon EOS R3 will feature 45MP image sensor with pixel-shift and Quad-Pixel Autofocus.
We already know that the Canon R3 will feature a new Canon-developed back illuminated stacked CMOS sensor. The sensor will be powered by DIGIC X imaging processor, 30fps burst shooting with AF/AE tracking, an integrated grip design with professional levels of weather-proofing. Canon’s most advanced autofocusing system ever, an innovative new autofocus Eye Control Function, and compatibility with Canon’s Mobile File Transfer smartphone app.

The Canon RF 15-35mm F2.8L IS USM is a fast, wide zoom lens for Canon’s full-frame mirrorless system. It features 16 elements, including 2 aspherical and 3 UD. A Nano USM motor moves the focusing group quickly and quietly. Its built-in image stabilization system can reduce shake by up to 5 stops, according to Canon. Being an ‘L’ lens, the RF 15-35 has excellent build quality and is weather-sealed.

The Canon RF 24-70 F2.8L IS USM is a standard zoom lens for the company’s full-frame mirrorless system. It has a whopping 21 elements, including 3 aspherical and 3 UD elements. It uses a Nano USM motor to drive the focus group quickly and quietly. The minimum focus distance of the lens is 21cm at wide-angle and 38cm at telephoto. The 24-70’s image stabilizer can reduce shake by up to 5 stops, according to Canon. The lens weighs in at 900 grams and, like all ‘L’ lenses, is rugged and weather-sealed.

Canon EOS R5 Firmware Update Version 1.3.1 Released with Minor Bug Fix
Canon released a new Canon EOS R5 firmware update version 1.3.1. This new Canon firmware update fixes a minor bug in Canon EOS R5 firmware 1.3.1 compared to version 1.3.0. Please note that the list below lists all new features and bug fixes introduced with firmware 1.3.1 and 1.3.0 (to remind those who forgot to update to do it). While firmware 1.3.1 includes all the fixes in 1.3.0, only item 13 is fixed with firmware 1.3.1.
