Canon APS-C RF Mount Mirrorless Cameras Coming in Late 2022

According to recent Canon rumors, the camera giant will definitely release at least one APS-C RF mount mirrorless camera in 2022. Currently, there is no information about new APS-C RF mount mirrorless camera will be an EOS R7 or just an RF mount EOS M mirrorless camera.

Canon EOS R1 Camera to be Released In Q3 2022

Back in January 2021, speculation from Canon Rumors had pointed to the Canon EOS R1 arriving. Now a new, fresh rumor about the Canon EOS R1 surfaced, a not yet released Canon mirrorless camera.

According to our source, the Canon EOS R1 might be released around Q3 2022. Not much has been told to us about the specifications. Just that the Canon EOS R1 will incorporate technology that will “let all competitors behind” .

The Canon EOS R1 (moniker comes from the web, not official Canon name) will be Canon’s flagship full frame mirrorless camera. The EOS R1 will be another game changer in the industry.

  • Newly designed 21MP full-frame global shutter image sensor
  • A full-pixel Quad-Pixel CMOS AF autofocus system more powerful than Canon R5 and Canon R6
  • The highest record of Canon high-speed continuous shooting speed
  • Aimed at professional sports and wildlife photographers
