Venus Optics announced two new Laowa lenses for Cinema applications. These two Laowa macro models are the T2.9 Cine versions of its 65mm and 100mm 2x Ultra Macro APO lenses; the Laowa 65mm T2.9 2X Macro APO Cine and Laowa 100mm T2.9 2X Macro APO Cine,

The Laowa 65mm T2.9 2X Macro APO Cine is available today for $599 in all mount options while the Laowa 100mm T2.9 2X Macro APO Cine is available for $999 for all mounts. Both include a protective hardcase.  Laowa lenses are listed at B&H Photo and Adorama.

Laowa RF 100mm F2.8 APO 2:1 Macro Lens Review

Here is a Laowa RF 100mm F2.8 APO 2:1 Macro lens review. A third party lens for the that seems to be rather interesting, and has an interesting price.

It features an apochromatic (APO) characteristic that chromatic aberration at both ‘in-focus’ & ‘out-of-focus’ is both invisible. This new 100mm lens can cover full frame sensor size and focus from 2:1 magnification to infinity. The lens has a similar physical size to other 100mm Macro lenses in the market but its wider magnification range allows macro photographers to capture subjects at any sizes. This Laowa RF 100mm f/2.8 lens can also focus to infinity and serve as a portrait lens with exceptional optics quality.
