According to the latest rumors, the next firmware update Version 1.50 for Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera might be released soon. The release date of this new Canon firmware update is expected to happen after the shipping date of the Canon EOS R3. The Canon EOS R3 is scheduled to start shipping on November 26, 2021.
