100+ MP Canon EOS R Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera Rumored to Arrive in 2023

Will Canon Release a Full-Frame RF Mount Camera with 100+ Megapixels in 2023? The latest Canon rumors claims that “Canon is indeed going to release a full-frame RF mount camera with 100+ megapixels some time in the first half of 2023″.

This camera will probably be named  Canon EOS R5S and it will be the replacement of current EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R. The body design will be similar to the EOS R5. The EOS R5S will be target for landscape and studio photographers. The official announcement could come as early as in Q4 of 2022. Canon Launches RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM & RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM Lenses

Canon launches its first RF-S kit lenses. The new 18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF-S 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM are designed to be paired with the new EOS R7 and R10 cameras.

Alongside its new APS-C mirrorless cameras, Canon has also announced a pair of APS-C kit lenses, the RF-S 18–45mm F4.5–6.3 IS STM and RF-S 18–150mm F3.5–6.3 IS STM. These lenses will offer full-frame equivalent focal length ranges of 29–72mm and 29–240mm, respectively.

Canon has announced the EOS R10 for its RF mount mirrorless camera system. It’s being launched alongside the EOS R7 camera, as well as a pair of kit lenses: the Canon RF-S 18–45mm F4.5–6.3 IS STM and RF-S 18–150mm F3.5–6.3 IS STM.

Full List Canon Products to be Announced on May 24

Canon is planning to hold a new product launch event on May 24, 2022. In this post you can find the full list of the upcoming Canon cameras and lenses that will be announced on May 24th.

The Canon EOS R10 will become the entry-level RF Mount camera with APS-C image sensors. This camera will be the successor to the Canon EOS M6 Mark II which was recently discontinued by Canon. On the other hand long rumored Canon EOS R7 is a very clear replacement for the Canon EOS 7D Mark II DSLR.

We expect both the Canon EOS R7 and Canon EOS R10 to get announced along with two new RF-S lenses on May 24, 2022.
